Sandstone Care is a premier provider of comprehensive addiction and co-occurring mental health treatment for adolescents and young adults.

Our detox facility in Chantilly is a well-appointed 24-bed center that supports adults facing challenges related to substance use and mental health disorders.

We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Facility Sanitation Specialist to become part of our dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the care and services that Sandstone Care provides and will be tasked with ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff, thereby enhancing the overall well-being and positive atmosphere of the facility.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute daily cleaning duties, including but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
2. Maintain all common areas, client rooms, and other designated spaces in a clean and orderly condition.
3. Manage and dispose of waste in accordance with established protocols.
4. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as necessary.
5. Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and resolve any maintenance issues or repairs.
6. Adhere to health and safety standards, following all relevant protocols and guidelines.
7. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a sanitation worker or in a similar role.
2. Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation procedures.
3. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Understanding of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Candidates must be CPR Certified prior to their first day of employment.

This competency ensures that the sanitation specialist can manage their workload independently and complete tasks within designated timeframes, maintaining the smooth operation of the facility.


Reliability and Punctuality:
Dependability in consistently showing up for scheduled shifts on time is crucial.

This competency ensures that cleaning tasks are performed regularly and without interruption, contributing to a stable and reliable environment for clients and staff.

Punctuality also supports the collaborative efforts of the team, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts and efficient operations.
