Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Director of Technical Operations, the IT Support Specialist I plays a crucial role in supporting CALPIA's technological infrastructure. Responsibilities include:

  • Traveling to various CALPIA facilities statewide.
  • Designing and implementing industry-specific infrastructure.
  • Managing program resources in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Conducting system and server updates.
  • Providing support for network-connected industrial systems.
  • Deploying surveillance systems and conducting site assessments.
  • Responding to incidents and collaborating with vendors as necessary.

Application Process

To be considered for this position, candidates must first achieve eligibility by completing the Information Technology Specialist I examination.

For individuals with certified disabilities, an alternative examination option is available through the Limited Exam and Appointment Program (LEAP).

Special Requirements
