As a Speech Language Pathologist I at UCHealth, you'll have the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, developing tailored treatment plans to meet their unique needs.

Salary Range: $36.19 - $54.28 per hour, commensurate with experience.

About the Role: You'll be responsible for assessing patient conditions, creating and implementing effective treatment plans, and supervising therapy assistants. Your critical thinking skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations will be essential in this role.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate patients' conditions, considering factors such as cognitive and physical abilities.
  2. Develop individualized plans of care, incorporating input from patients and family members.
  3. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  4. Maintain accurate records, documenting patient progress and any changes to treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current certification with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
