Role Impact

As a GIS Technician, you will play a crucial role in our expanding operations. Your primary responsibilities will include generating operator maps utilizing ArcGIS Pro, extracting data from various public and governmental sources, and contributing to Business Development initiatives that drive our business forward.

Work Environment

This position will be based onsite at our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract data from public and governmental resources
  • Digitize and create maps
  • Develop operator maps
  • Generate density maps
  • Support Business Development projects
  • Conduct logistics data analysis
  • Maintain and update databases and dashboards

Essential Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of experience in GIS within the Oil and Gas, Midstream Logistics, or Land Management sectors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Skilled in ArcGIS Pro and Google Earth
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in data analysis
  • Familiarity with Python scripting and/or ArcGIS Modelbuilder
