**Job Summary:**

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Assembly and Testing Specialist to join our team in HIAWATHA, IA. As an Assembly and Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution of required assembly activities to meet customer requirements and internal measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various assembly and warehousing duties, including setting up and operating assembly equipment such as saws, fitting assemblies, crimpers, and pressure testers.
  • Prepare assembled products for shipment to customers.
  • Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures.
  • Record assembly-related data on assembly paperwork and/or in computer-based programs.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate various types of assembly equipment, cutting equipment, and fork lifts.
  • Ability to use measuring devices, such as tape measurers and calipers.
  • Perform basic math, convert decimals to fractions, and plot measurements on a measuring tape.
  • Read and interpret written instructions.
  • Computer experience a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position starts at $19.34/hour with raises at 6, 9, 12, and 18 months, reaching a top rate of $25.29/hour at 18 months. Parker offers a range of benefits, including profit sharing, insurance benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, 401k with company match, and a company-funded pension plan.
