Clinical Pharmacy Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced clinical pharmacy leader to join our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. This position will be responsible for pharmacy informatics, automation, analytics, and finance, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all duties and responsibilities of the Pharmacist I, including distributive, clinical, and research activities.
- Participate in the development or revision of Pharmacy policy and procedures.
- Perform personnel management functions, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, evaluating, and terminating employees.
- Plan, provide, and evaluate orientation, training, continuing education programs, or other opportunities for learning.
- Participate in monitoring and controlling assigned operational and capital budgets.
- Exemplify Guest and Staff Relations and hold departmental staff accountable for conformity with standards.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required.
- On-the-Job Training or a hospital pharmacy residency program or equivalent experience required.
- 1-2 years experience as a hospital pharmacist in a progressive clinical environment required.
- Some supervisory experience required.
- PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist and Current DC license as a Pharmacist required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology and related sciences.
- Knowledge of management, and Federal/Local laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to perform computerized procedures.
This position has a hiring range of $139,276 - $263,744.
