Job Responsibilities:- Conduct on-site surveys of long-term care facilities to determine compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Evaluate complex medical situations and prepare survey documents under tight deadlines.
- Lead and direct nursing activities in assigned facilities, ensuring high-quality care is delivered.
- Direct subordinate supervisors and staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Review and monitor facility plans of correction to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other agencies to ensure effective survey coordination and communication.
- May serve as a team lead worker and provide guidance to new surveyors.
- Master's degree in nursing, nursing administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Two years of administrative or supervisory experience, or five years of experience as a Registered Nurse with two years in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
- Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Valid Georgia driver's license and use of a car at work.
This is a home-based position with up to 90% overnight travel required. Occasional weekend and after-hours work may also be necessary.
