Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site surveys of long-term care facilities to determine compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Evaluate complex medical situations and prepare survey documents under tight deadlines.
  • Lead and direct nursing activities in assigned facilities, ensuring high-quality care is delivered.
  • Direct subordinate supervisors and staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Review and monitor facility plans of correction to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to ensure effective survey coordination and communication.
  • May serve as a team lead worker and provide guidance to new surveyors.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing, nursing administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Two years of administrative or supervisory experience, or five years of experience as a Registered Nurse with two years in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
  • Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license and use of a car at work.
