At NHC, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend On-Call RN. This role requires the ability to provide high-quality patient care on weekends, working closely with our patients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients according to physician orders
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total patient care and nursing care plans
- Make patient visits each week, with the option to resolve some issues by phone
- Be available for work-related phone calls throughout scheduled weekend work hours
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation
- Nursing experience required, with experience in Hospice or Home Health preferred
- Must possess a sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and elements of patient family teaching
