Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Global Tax Compliance and Reporting to join our esteemed Global Tax Reporting & Compliance Team within the Corporate Tax Department.

This role will involve close collaboration with team members and various departments, including Controllership and FP&A, to oversee the preparation and review of the company's global quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and related disclosures. You will also be responsible for effective tax rate forecasting and modeling the impacts of proposed or enacted global tax legislation and business strategies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and management of global effective tax rate calculations, both non-GAAP and GAAP.
  • Oversee global current and deferred tax provision calculations, including quarterly FIN18 rate calculations.
  • Manage global FIN48 and IFRIC23 tax reserve calculations.
  • Conduct global FAS123R tax calculations and income tax account reconciliations.
  • Prepare tax footnotes and related disclosures for quarterly and annual SEC filings.
  • Handle tax accounting for M&A activities and internal restructurings.
  • Facilitate quarterly tax provision walkthroughs with management.
  • Collaborate with various teams within the tax department, corporate accounting, FP&A, and treasury to gather necessary data for global tax provision calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal/SOX control processes over the income tax function.
  • Monitor developments in ASC 740, researching various income tax accounting matters.
  • Forecast effective tax rates on a quarterly and long-term basis.
  • Model effective tax rates concerning new accounting standards and global tax legislation.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of the global income tax reporting process.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; a CPA is required, and a Master's in Taxation is preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in ASC740 income tax accounting for publicly held multinational companies.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience is required, with additional experience in a multinational corporate tax department highly desired.

Skills:

  • Excellent technical skills in tax accounting and analytical thinking.
  • Detail-oriented with strong collaboration abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying tax accounting issues to non-tax personnel.
  • Resourceful and adaptable, with a self-motivated approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Corptax and SAP is a plus.
