Thompson Engineering is seeking a skilled Construction Materials Testing professional to join our team in New Orleans, LA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of construction materials used in various projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and test soil, asphalt, and concrete materials according to company and client guidelines.
- Perform tests using appropriate ASTM methods and enter data manually onto the proper forms.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment, ensuring quality in every step of the testing process.
- Assist the Drilling and Construction Material Testing Departments as required by the Organization Supervisor.
- Ensure on-time and regular attendance.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- General maintenance skills and basic math skills.
- Ability to learn and follow instructions.
- ACI Level I or II certification required.
- ACI Strength testing certification required.
- Nuclear gauge certified required.
- Six months experience in construction materials testing preferred.
