Job Title: Lead Equipment Safety Engineer

AESC US LLC is seeking a highly skilled Lead Equipment Safety Engineer to join our team in Florence, SC. As a key member of our EHS team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing safety engineering strategies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety engineering strategies to prevent injuries and illnesses
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential hazards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement safety controls and procedures
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production and maintenance personnel on safety-related matters
  • Lead safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety engineering role
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and ANSI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
