Job SummaryThe System Data Associate will be responsible for creating user tables, views, user functions, and stored procedures in a relational database based on business rules. This role will also involve managing the data manipulation of large data files extracted from various databases (SQL, Oracle, DB2) and exporting these data sets into output that can be analyzed and used for decision making.

- Export data sets into output for analysis and decision making
- Gather and interpret database statistics to monitor performance and make necessary changes
- Assist systems administrator with installing, configuring, and maintaining servers that host the database system
- Apply and implement metadata standards for data elements
- Maintain a repository for data element definitions and produce data reports
- Assist in the preparation and support of data conversion and migration
To be successful in this role, you will need a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in computer science or a related computer field and one year of satisfactory full-time computer software experience in computer systems development and analysis, applications programming, database administration, maintenance and support, systems programming, data communications, mainframe development, mobile development, web development and design.
Alternatively, you may have a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and five years of satisfactory full-time computer software experience as described above.
College education may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience on the basis that 60 semester credits from an accredited college is equated to one year of experience.
