We are seeking a skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at the Lexington/Fayette County Detention Center in Lexington, KY. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will provide high-quality behavioral health services to patients, including individual and group therapeutic interventions, psychosocial assessments, and mental health intake evaluations.
Responsibilities
* Conduct risk assessments and interventions as needed
* Provide behavioral health consultation to team members and correctional personnel
* Perform crisis intervention and de-escalation as required
* Support and coordinate care efforts for patients returning to the community
* Develop and maintain patient treatment plans
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to program planning and implementation
Requirements
* Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or related field
* Unrestricted, current license in the state of practice (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or Psychologist)
* Counseling experience in a correctional setting preferred
* BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
