Job Description:

  • As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for taking ownership of tickets (bugs, enhancement requests) and collaborating with stakeholders/internal customers to better understand requirements and meet success criteria.
  • You will have expertise in migrating SOC business processes and requirements to runbooks in ServiceNow.
  • A thorough understanding of ITIL standards is required for development and customization of ServiceNow Platform Applications.
  • Extensive experience in applications using AJAX, JavaScript, JSON, and XML is necessary, as well as in-depth knowledge/experience of Web 2.0, JavaScript, JQuery, W3C Standards.
  • Excellent working knowledge and thorough exposure to compatibility issues with different versions of browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome.
  • Strong debugging skills using Firebug, IE Tester, and Chrome Developer Tools are required.
  • Knowledge in Unified Modeling Language (UML), Flow Chart, Class Diagrams, User Diagram, Activity, and Sequence Diagrams is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge in Agile Development, Scrum, and Waterfall Methodologies is required.
  • Expertise in creating templates, mockups, and prototypes, web interfaces, layouts, and flow of future pages using web standards is necessary.
  • Experience working with CSS background, layouts, positioning, text, border, padding, pseudo classes, elements, and CSS behaviors in CSS is required.
  • Experience in system analysis, design, workflow architecture, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications is necessary.
  • Excellent team player, self-starter, and good at multitasking with ability to handle deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • At least 4 years of ServiceNow ITSM or SIR management experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in JavaScript.
  • At least 2 years of experience with XML and REST API integration.
  • Ability and interest to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for information security and data security.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Experience integrating with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Agile development/DevOps methodologies and tools.
