Supervisor: Men's Locker Room Manager
Position Objective: Deliver personalized services to members and guests, including shoe care and beverage provision. Ensure the functionality, safety, and overall upkeep of the locker room environment.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome all members and guests by name whenever feasible and assist with locker assignments as necessary.
- Familiarize yourself with members' full names, recognize their faces, and remember their locker numbers.
- Provide shoe shining and cleaning services for both golf and casual footwear for all members and guests.
- Manage the inventory of amenities such as soaps, toiletries, and towels.
- Distribute towels, soaps, toiletries, and other requested items to members and guests.
- Ensure the cleanliness of locker room facilities. Collect soiled towels and maintain the shoe shine area. Housekeeping staff will handle floor, shower, and restroom cleaning.
- Empty trash receptacles regularly.
- Wipe down sinks and maintain hygiene standards.
- Conduct minor repairs on golf shoes and spikes.
- Prepare and serve coffee and iced tea. Offer beverages, snacks, and fruit to members and guests upon request.
- Update the events notice board monthly.
- Ensure security within the locker room.
- Take messages for members as needed.
- Operate and oversee the Jacuzzi, maintaining a daily water quality log and ensuring chemical balance is within required parameters, adding chemicals as necessary.
- Adhere to all relevant county and state health regulations.
- Report any mechanical issues to the engineering department promptly.
- Maintain current CPR and defibrillator training for spa guard responsibilities.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
Proficient English communication skills are essential. Previous experience in a country club or resort setting is advantageous.
