We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Chemours. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities and ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance mechanics to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained.
- Safety and Quality: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all equipment is properly maintained to ensure quality and reliability.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to maintenance mechanics to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with operations personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a coordinated and efficient manner.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of four years of industrial mechanical experience, or a technical degree with a minimum of one year of leadership experience.
- Experience: Experience working in process safety management (PSM) high-hazard operations, and previous leadership experience or detailed supervision experience.
- Skills: Strong working knowledge of SAP-PM, SAP-MM, and maintenance work management systems, and ability to work with various computer programs, including Microsoft Suite and purchasing systems.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience: Working knowledge of chemical plant equipment, including pumps, piping, heat exchanges, columns, vessels, instrumentation, etc.
