Job Overview

Position: Resilience Training Specialist

Location: San Diego, CA

Travel Requirements: None

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate various programs, workshops, and presentations focused on resilience.
  • Engage in marketing initiatives and conduct in-person meetings with military leadership.
  • Identify and enhance additional capabilities and initiatives for the Chaplain Religious Enrichment Development Operation.
  • Provide appropriate referrals to chaplains or other support professionals as needed.
  • Gather and analyze data utilizing the Navy Chaplain Ministry Support Tool to assess performance and effectiveness of religious programs.
  • Collaborate with other support professionals within the Navy framework.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Chaplain.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Possess a master's degree or equivalent in fields such as Divinity, Pastoral Care, Pastoral Counseling, or a related discipline.
  • Hold a license or registration as a Clinical Social Worker, Counselor, or Certified Life Coach.
  • Have at least three (3) years of professional experience in facilitating or leading groups in a supportive environment.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of military culture, ethical standards, social issues, and lifestyles.
