Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Care Coordinator to join our team at the Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, NM. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our emergency department.

About the Job

This is a full-time permanent position that offers a competitive salary range of $95,645 - $124,335 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing with at least one year of specialized experience in a healthcare setting.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients of all ages, including stabilization and resuscitation for various illnesses and injuries.
  • Apply the nursing process to determine and evaluate the kind of health and physical care needed for patients.
  • Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by physicians and participate in quality improvement monitoring.
  • Maintain patient flow and ensure safety, patient confidentiality, and efficient treatment onset.
  • Assign, direct, and delegate staff according to their capabilities to meet patient needs.
  • Serve as a resource person for staff floating to the ED and provide guidance and leadership.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. You should also have a graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program.
