RN - Clinical Resource Unit (Float) - Inpatient Nursing Specialist

The Clinical Resource Unit (Float) RN is a dynamic and skilled nursing professional responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in various inpatient units. As a key member of the healthcare team, this role requires strong clinical expertise, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care to patients in Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Orthopedic, Cardiovascular Care unit, Progressive Care unit, Mental health unit, and Acute Rehab units.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conducts and documents thorough assessments, nursing diagnoses, plans, and evaluations of patient care.
- Acts as a resource to staff from various units, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Coordinates care with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- College Diploma in Nursing
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License Illinois upon hire and Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA) within 30 days and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) within 1 year.
- Minimum of one year of inpatient nursing experience
