We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Cosco Fire Protection in Denver, Colorado. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fixed fire extinguishing systems, including fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain all types of fixed fire extinguishing systems
  • Acquire and maintain all required local licensure
  • Install and service fire protection equipment such as standpipes, fire pumps, foam systems, clean agent systems, and underground fire supply piping
  • Conduct work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, safe work practices, etc.
  • Travel within the states of Colorado and Wyoming to work job sites as necessary

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to become/be a member of the UA Local Union 669
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience is required
  • Job Foreman experience a plus
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma OR GED required
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, including working outdoors, hot/cold weather, etc.
