Electronics CAD Specialist

We are seeking a CAD Technician to help keep operations organized, efficient, and smooth.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures with AutoCAD and other technical computer aided design platforms.
Responsibilities include preparing project drawings, specifications, and schematics, as well as designing layout, field checking, fabrication listing, material equipment submittals, calculations, applicable installation requirements, and close out procedures.
The CAD Technician will ensure designs are in compliance with NFPA standards and deliver quality service to the customer while maintaining scope of the company's obligations.
Support for Fire Protection / Low Voltage projects is a must, and the candidate will coordinate with project managers to ensure project design is in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local codes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required, as well as the ability to work sitting at a desk for the standard eight-hour workday.
