Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Therapist to join our team at the Thomas Talent Network. As a key member of our healthcare institution, you will provide specialized nutrition therapy and dietary guidance to patients, working closely with healthcare teams to assess patients' nutritional needs and develop tailored diet plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and create individualized meal plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to integrate nutrition therapy into patient care plans.
  • Monitor and document patients' nutritional status and progress.
  • Provide expert dietary counseling to patients with specific medical conditions or dietary restrictions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and their families.
  • Assess patients' readiness for change and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in nutritional science and incorporate best practices into patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and reports.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietician (RD) credential.
  • Licensure or certification as a dietitian in the state of practice.
  • Proven experience in clinical nutrition or dietetics.
  • Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and assessment techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for counseling and educating patients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
