Job Description

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Global Business Communications Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans to support GREF's business priorities and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the execution of strategic communication plans and the implementation of communications tactics for various GREF programs and initiatives
  • Engage regularly with cross-functional GREF program owners to understand their key priorities, track milestones and timelines, proactively identify comms opportunities, and provide expert communications guidance and counsel
  • Develop narratives, messaging and other various visual and written communications assets
  • Review and edit program materials to ensure consistency in GREF brand voice and Amazon writing standards
  • Elevate GREF storytelling by developing content for communications channels such as the GREF Hub, GREF People, GREF Slack, etc.
  • Manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges with an ability to look around corners for to plan ahead and mitigate risk
  • Exercise extremely high judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes
  • Roll up sleeves and get work done, even when at times it's outside the scope of the job
  • Employ both proactive and reactive strategic thinking and decision making
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of internal communications
  • Continuously measure, evaluate, and modify communications plans and tactics to improve impact and effectiveness
  • Developing a deep understanding of the GREF's vision, mission, programs and initiatives, and organizational culture
  • Contribute to the overall GREF Communications culture and comradery, sharing comms best practices and helping to mentor others

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • 5+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross functional marketing programs
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
