Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Senior Linux Administrator to support our operations. This role requires extensive experience in managing Linux systems within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and resolving issues in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 and later versions.
  • Conducting routine monitoring and maintenance of Linux systems, including DNS, firewalls, and databases.
  • Reviewing and updating STIG requirements and checklists, and addressing any findings as necessary.
  • Diagnosing and repairing remote Linux systems operating in a VMWare environment.
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining various applications on Linux systems, such as DNS, NTP, and Postfix.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a current IAT II-compliant security certification.
  • Have or be able to obtain within six months of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for the supported communications equipment.
  • Have a minimum of nine years of experience in supporting Linux servers in an enterprise setting, with at least three years at a subject matter expert level.
  • Experience in a high-latency, low-bandwidth enterprise environment is advantageous.

Security Clearance
Top Secret clearance is required for this position.
