At Blattner Company, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead to manage our renewable energy projects. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

This role involves managing project transitions from award to final design, ensuring reliable, quality, and safe designs. You will work with 3rd party engineering firms, internal engineering teams, and serve as the project lead in all aspects of project design.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design process through IFC design and serving as the company representative with the owner during the design phase.
  • Aligning with the construction management team to ensure they have the necessary design plans, quantities, and parameters to build the work.
  • Designing energy storage systems, underground collection systems, substations, SCADA/communication systems, transmission lines, and solar/PV arrays.

You will also provide training and mentorship for project and technical personnel.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited college. At least four years of progressive engineering, engineering supervisory, and/or construction-related experience in a related industry is required. A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred, with an emphasis on construction and electrical engineering.
