A Day in the Life of an Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer I, you will be responsible for providing engineering project design and support for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with Senior and Lead Project Engineers to manage 3rd party project engineering firms and coordinate with Blattner Internal Engineering and other stakeholders.
• Assist with the design, development, and testing of electrical components and/or systems, and participate in the installation process of project designs for safety and efficiency.
• Work with the Senior Engineer - Electrical to manage bid designs, ensuring the design meets contractual requirements from clients, company, and industry codes and standards.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related degree from an ABET accredited college.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, preferred.
