Educational Qualifications

Minimum Requirement: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

Certifications

Essential Certifications: Program Management Certification (e.g., PMI, PMP) and one of the following NCMA certifications: CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, CCMA, or FAI certification in Contracting.

Experience

Required Experience: A minimum of 4 years in Department of Defense or federal agency environments, with a focus on preparing acquisition documentation.

ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Administration Support
  • Attend and participate in federal meetings and working groups.
  • Maintain task lists and contribute to status meetings, developing presentation materials.
  • Update and manage the contract status tracking document.
  • Oversee the Acquisition and Contract Management System (ACMS) and other related databases.
  • Provide knowledge management support for status reporting.
Portfolio Management Support
  • Identify and track performance metrics for project health and operational progress.
  • Research and recommend best practices in portfolio management.
  • Assist in preparing performance review documents for leadership briefings.
  • Support the documentation of the portfolio's strategy and vision.
  • Prepare executive-level briefing materials.
Executive Subject Matter Expert Support
  • Review projects and provide recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Develop decision criteria and evaluate alternatives.
  • Create briefs and analysis reports to assess feasibility.
  • Synthesize results and prepare decision briefings with implementation plans.
