Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to residents in our long-term care facility. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and individualized care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing testing as needed.
  • Contribute to the assessment of residents and develop care plans to meet their physical and psychosocial needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary needs.
  • Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
