Role Summary

This full-time, remote role involves conducting comprehensive health assessments, developing personalized plans of care, and providing coaching and support to empower members to make healthy lifestyle choices. You will utilize motivational interviewing skills, active listening, and clinical tools to ensure maximum member engagement and promote behavior changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct health assessments and develop personalized plans of care
  • Provide coaching and support to empower members to make healthy lifestyle choices
  • Utilize motivational interviewing skills and active listening to ensure maximum member engagement
  • Collaborate with members to establish and monitor plans of care
  • Facilitate group sessions virtually via WebEx video

Requirements

  • 3+ years of adult health or wellness coaching experience
  • Health Coach Certification/Fitness Coach certification
  • 1-3+ years of experience of public speaking
  • 1-3+ years of experience facilitating health/wellness presentations both in person and virtually
  • 3+ years of experience in wellness-related areas such as weight management, tobacco cessation, stress management, nutrition, physical activity or health lifestyle behavior change
  • 3+ years computer skills including MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Public Health, Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, or other health areas
  • Knowledge of the Transtheoretical Model regarding stages of change, an understanding of mindfulness principles, and other evidence-based coaching techniques
  • Possesses a Tobacco Treatment Coaching Certification
  • 1-3+ years of experience with medical documentation in EMRs, especially Epic
  • Ability to communicate, problem solve, and work effectively with people individually as well as in a group setting

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $43,700.00 - $91,800.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
