Crisis Case Manager Specialist

The Southeast Kansas Mental Health Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Case Manager to join our team. As a Crisis Case Manager, you will play a vital role in providing community-based interventions to consumers with mental health issues.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a crisis situation, and have a strong understanding of human behavior and development.
Key Responsibilities- Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST): Provide face-to-face interventions to consumers, focusing on solution-oriented strategies and goal-directed treatment plans.
- Targeted Case Management (TCM): Assist consumers in accessing medical, social, educational, and other services, as outlined in their individualized treatment plan.
- Collateral Contacts: Coordinate consumer needs through phone calls, written correspondence, and face-to-face interactions with other social service agencies and community partners.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also provide attendant care, psychosocial rehabilitation services, and crisis intervention or stabilization as needed. A strong emphasis is placed on effective communication, documentation, and time management.
