Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Union. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patient information and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduling, registration, and patient pre-admission and admission functions to ensure accurate and timely patient data.
  • Collect and verify patient demographic information, including insurance and financial data, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Employ proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques to ensure accurate and timely payment of patient accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and payers to resolve patient financial issues and ensure accurate and timely payment of patient accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a positive and efficient experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • 0-1 year of experience in customer service, medical office, or healthcare administration; experience in patient access or registration preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records and scheduling systems.
