Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to assist laboratory physicians and RNs in Cardiac Catheterization procedures at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and maintain competency with Interventional and Electrophysiology equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in Cardiac Catheterization procedures and provide care to adult or geriatric patients.
  • Maintain knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients served on the nursing unit or by patient care departments.
  • Participate in in-service programs and maintain competency with all Interventional and Electrophysiology equipment and procedures.
  • Meet the minimum requirements for education and experience, including a minimum of 2 years college or technical training, or equivalent experience.
  • Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, NYS Radiologic Technologist License, and American Registry or Radiologic Technology Certification, or be eligible.
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work Monday-Friday 10-hour shifts with call.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
