Medical Care Provider

The Medical Assistant provides high-quality medical care and works collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care. This role involves facilitating the efficient flow of patients through our clinic, providing direct patient care, and assisting with client follow-up and chart maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients in person or via telemedicine
- Work collaboratively with Patient Service Representatives, Providers, and Family Practice Administrators to ensure smooth patient care
- Facilitate the efficient flow of patients through the clinic
- Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, injections, and other medical procedures
- Assist with client follow-up and chart maintenance
- Keep exam rooms, lab area, and bathrooms orderly
- Current NYS Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant Certification or equivalent
- Proven knowledge of patient care and medical assisting
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Skilled with computers and computer applications
- Attention to detail and problem resolution skills
