Operating Room Nurse

White Oak Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room, you will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse experience and a strong background in circulating in the Operating Room. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities include:
- Reporting directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager and independently being responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care.
- Educating patients and family through the continuum of care.
- Demonstrating professionalism, adhering to ANA standards of practice, and exemplifying the Adventist HealthCare values.
Qualifications include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree required.
- Valid Maryland RN license required.
- Passing score on NCLEX.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum one year of Registered Nurse experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years circulating experience in Operating Room preferred.
