We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Covenant Living Communities and Services. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on physical plant, machinery, and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Complete preventative maintenance functions according to established schedules and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure smooth operation of the campus.
- Participate in required in-service training and training of new employees as required by state and federal mandates.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with overall coordination of Maintenance Department.
- High School graduate or equivalent (GED) required; vocational training certificate or trade school preferred.
- Valid driver's license and safe/clean driving record required.
- At least one of the following certifications/licenses required: HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
- Five (5) + years related maintenance experience working in a similar position.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and installation manuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and good follow-through.
- Mobility to move about the campus.
- Frequent stooping, bending, climbing, reaching, pulling/pushing, and long periods walking/standing.
- Occasional lifting (with assistance) of weights up to 100 pounds.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
