Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, manage, and upgrade operating systems in cloud environments, including cloud server configurations, patches, and troubleshooting.
- Resolve system issues and monitor, document, and maintain approved system infrastructure configurations and network security for operability.
- Monitor and analyze capabilities and performance of the systems; comparing, evaluating, and implementing new technologies and integrating systems into the computing environment.
- Assist in developing system security strategies, policies, and procedures, and effectively communicate and collaborate with the Chief Engineer and key stakeholders regarding requirements and concepts for network-related activities.
- Supervise and mentor subordinate project staff and collaborate with other Cloud Administrator IIIs.
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Five or more years of related experience in a similar position.
- If a candidate does not have a degree, four additional years of experience are required.
- If a candidate holds an Associate's degree rather than a Bachelor's degree, two additional years of experience are required.
- Hold one of the following certifications within six months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CECN, DSSCP.
- Nine years of position-specific relevant experience.
- Relevant commercial cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare, etc.).
- This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
