Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and virtual network resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management strategies.
  • Develop and implement tools, scripts, and templates to automate cloud security controls, governance, and compliance validations.
  • Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
  • Implement and manage Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure as code (IaaC) deployments.
  • Manage Azure security solutions, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault.
  • Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC) and identity management.
  • Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
  • Conduct regular backup and recovery tests to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and virtual network resources.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and infrastructure as code (IaaC) deployments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault.
  • Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and identity management.
  • Strong understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
