About the Role

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Child Development Specialist to join our team in Roanoke Rapids, NC. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological services to students across the district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Assessments: Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student needs and eligibility for special education services.
  • Collaborate with Educators: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, team meetings, and collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement effective student support plans.
  • Provide Therapy: Provide individual, group, and family therapy according to IEP requirements, addressing emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
  • Offer Consultation Services: Offer consultation services to teachers and staff to support students educational and psychological well-being.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress.
Requirements
  • Valid Certification/License: Must have a valid School Psychologist certification/license in North Carolina.
  • Experience and Skills: Experience in conducting assessments, participating in IEP meetings, and providing therapy is required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential.
About the Position

This onsite role involves splitting the caseload with another School Psychologist, ensuring comprehensive psychological services to students across the district.
