About the Role:

The Policy Analyst at Brown Universitys Department of Health Services Policy & Practice will play a pivotal role in bridging research findings to state-level policymakers.

With a strong background in health policy, particularly at the state level, this individual will help communicate key takeaways to stakeholders, track developments in state health policy, and provide technical assistance to policymakers.

This fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity to drive change in healthcare policy, with a salary range estimated between $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Help identify actionable findings from studies and connect researchers with state policymakers
  • Write briefs and communicate research results to various constituents
  • Track developments in state health policy and provide technical assistance as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience in health policy, or Masters/JD degree and 1 year of experience
  • Strong knowledge of health policy, particularly at the state level
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities
