Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of our Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technicians in maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, and installing various types of electronic equipment and related devices for TADSS systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in accordance with Technical Specification and Documents of fielded TADSS-RVCT devices.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions, devise effective repair strategies, and ensure the timely restoration of equipment to its normal operation.
  • Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in the MIS Database system.
  • Assess the performance/reliability of repaired equipment and provide guidance and training to team members as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for unit preparatory actions, attend local meetings, handle requests for information (RFIs), and risk management, and mitigation to ensure mission success.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in electronic technology (or equivalent), certification in Basic Systems Technician (BST) or Associate Certified Electronics Technician (CETa), and three years' experience in a related discipline or three years related military training or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to use tools and test equipment to troubleshoot a circuit down to component level.
  • Experience with Microsoft office software operation and use.
  • Must possess good written composition and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to express facts and rationale.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active/valid US secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Needs experience using DMM, power supply, and multiple hand tools.
Desired Skills
  • Possess an active/valid US secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to gain access to military installation.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot basic electronics.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
