Clinical Preceptorship Opportunity for Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant Students

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated nurse practitioner and physician assistant students to participate in our clinical preceptorship program at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
About the ProgramOur clinical preceptorship program provides students with the opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. Students will be paired with a preceptor who will guide them through the clinical experience and provide feedback and support throughout the rotation.
Responsibilities- Perform all aspects of patient care under the direct supervision of a preceptor
- Follow the clinical schedule of the assigned preceptor and/or preceptor team
- Participate in patient education and health promotion activities
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
To be eligible for this program, students must be actively enrolled in an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant master's degree program.
What to ExpectDuring the clinical rotation, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings. They will work closely with their preceptor to develop their clinical skills and knowledge, and will have access to the patient electronic record and other resources as needed.
