As a Senior Tax Consultant within the Private Client Services division, you will play a pivotal role in client engagement, team development, specialized knowledge, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to a diverse clientele, including high net worth individuals, corporate executives, and business proprietors, adhering to RubinBrown's Client Service Standards.
  • Exhibit technical proficiency in specialized areas such as income tax compliance and strategic planning.
  • Oversee engagements and assignments to ensure consistent profitability.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client documentation, tax returns, and work papers to ensure precision.
  • Supervise client engagement processes effectively.
  • Mentor and develop team members, acting as a guide, advisor, and Career Advocate (CA).
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to team members, supporting the firm's performance management framework.
  • Plan and execute assignments within established timelines.
  • Identify, research, document, and resolve technical issues competently.
  • Drive new business initiatives while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Enhance service offerings to current clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in individual income tax planning and compliance.
  • Experience with trust income tax compliance is advantageous.
  • Strong research skills for technical issues with documented outcomes.
  • Proven ability to supervise, coach, and develop individuals and teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Commitment to professional ethics and standards.
  • Capacity to contribute to the success of a strategic business unit within the firm.
