Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Mechanic to join our team at Avis Budget Group. As a Master Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing standard and complex repairs on a wide variety of auto makes and models, including warranty work, with no technical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, air conditioning, and computer systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including lifts, diagnostic equipment, and power tools
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient and effective repair processes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest repair techniques and technologies through ongoing training and education
Requirements:
  • ASE certification in Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to loud noise levels
  • Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
