Job Summary

The UMC Cancer Center Clinic and Infusion Center provide care to adult and pediatric patients with non-cancerous, hematology, and/or oncology conditions. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you'll play a crucial role in administering chemotherapy and other therapies, coordinating patient care, and ensuring seamless communication with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy and other therapies, following ONS guidelines and institutional policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care, including medication refills, appointment scheduling, and effective management of the clinic.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in protocol participation and other clinical initiatives.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Valid Texas LVN License or Eligible Compact License.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an LVN.
