Job Title: Director of Enterprise Data

At Jackson + Coker, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Enterprise Data to lead our data management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our data management and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise data strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-related initiatives and projects that support business objectives.
  • Drive data integration efforts to ensure seamless data flow across various systems and platforms.
  • Establish and monitor data quality metrics and implement processes to improve data accuracy and integrity.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to drive their professional growth.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of enterprise data management and recommend relevant tools and solutions to enhance our data capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address data-related challenges, and develop innovative solutions to improve data access, analysis, and reporting.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to enable data-driven revenue growth strategies.
  • Champion a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting data literacy, advocating for data-driven decision-making, and fostering a strong data-driven mindset.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing enterprise data management.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data architecture, and data integration methodologies.
  • Experience with data management technologies such as MDM, data warehousing, ETL tools, data lakes, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering data projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the field of enterprise data management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure data services: SQL Server, Synapse, Cognitive Services.
  • Azure AI/ML services: Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, LLMs, Power BI AI Copilot, Azure Bot Service.
  • Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Databricks, Unity Catalog.
  • Azure Purview (Data Governance).
