Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer to become a vital part of our dynamic team in the construction sector. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to ensure our projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will manage all technical and engineering aspects of our construction projects from start to finish. This position requires exceptional communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all engineering and technical components of our construction projects.
2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to achieve project goals.
3. Review, process, and monitor submittals and RFIs to adhere to project timelines.
4. Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely ordering and delivery of materials and equipment.
5. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
6. Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
7. Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
8. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion.
9. Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Project Engineer role within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience with submittal processes, RFI processes, and purchase orders.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, processes, and safety regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with project management.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
7. Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
8. Demonstrated ability to conduct safety audits and inspections.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
