The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and be able to implement the nursing process for patients across all age groups. You will ensure patient care aligns with Kentucky Nursing Laws and our organizational policies and procedures.
About the Unit:Our Vascular Thoracic Unit is a highly specialized 21-bed unit dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with complex needs. You will work with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and promote positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Implement the nursing process for patients across all age groups
- Ensure patient care aligns with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care
- Participate in unit-based and hospital shared governance councils to drive change and improve patient outcomes
- Active Kentucky License
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
