Job Summary:

Norton Healthcare seeks a skilled Vascular Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be trained in vascular physiology and non-invasive techniques, responsible for performing non-invasive test procedures on patients to evaluate for peripheral vascular disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-invasive test procedures on patients to evaluate for peripheral vascular disease
  • Function as a member of the hospital team
  • Demonstrate clinical proficiency in the care of patients relative to their vascular testing, medical diagnoses, nursing interventions, required vascular assessments, age-specific requirements
  • Use technical processes, CQI processes, and hospital and community resources to plan direct patient care
  • Demonstrate clinical competency in all modalities of vascular testing
  • Use department and hospital-wide policies and procedures during the provision of patient care

Qualifications:

  • Diploma
  • One of: RVS, RVT, ARRT (VS)
  • Desired: One year in vascular testing, Registered Vascular Specialist, Registered Vascular Technologist, Vascular Sonography Technologist
