RN - Behavioral Health Specialist

As a Registered Nurse in our Behavioral Health Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting optimal health outcomes. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, develop treatment plans, and provide education to patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Current New York State RN license
- BS in Nursing or related field
- Previous Med-Surge experience preferred
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
