About the Team
The Intelligent Cloud Hosting team is responsible for hosting Amazon's global websites and backend platform services that power the customer experience. We abstract and centralize infrastructure management from service teams, bringing agility to business processes and operating 100s of Tier-1 services on behalf of our internal customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Onboarding Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive onboarding strategy for new Amazon Services to our Intelligent Cloud Hosting team for Infrastructure business.
- Manage Planned Operations: Manage planned operations to meet customer requests within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Lead and Coordinate Design and Implementation Efforts: Lead and coordinate design and implementation efforts with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate Goals and Objectives: Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal and remote project teams.
Requirements
- Technical Program Management Experience: 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
- Engineering Team Experience: 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- Software Development Experience: 3+ years of software development experience.
- Program Management Experience: Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Experience: 5+ years of project management experience, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Project Coordination Experience: Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- KPI and SLA Experience: Experience defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) used to drive multimillion-dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
